I think the Oil can grind right along with the Ducks, they got a pretty tough team now and they're faster.

it might be the series of lucky bounces tho. My money's on the Oil and Preds.

What I like about his scouting report is he has size skill and hockey IQ. After watching Ducks Oilers and the rest of conference playoffs we need some size preferably with skill.
A team like Oilers with Lucic Kassian Maroon Draisaitl and Nurse seems to have added confidence to players like RNH Letestu and Eberle, who have been hitting and playing much better than I have ever seen before.
I am not saying I want a team of meatheads, just some balance.

Next season looks good for adding size and skill. This year seems more like a core piece kind of season. Guys that do the little things to help the team win games. Add in the flash next season with the higher end skill guys. Too many skill guys and not enough players doing the dirty work turns you into the Oilers Pre Lucic, Maroon, Letestu, Larsson.

It's possible however the Oil do have players that can combat that. Kassian, Maroon, Lucic, Nurse, Pouliot, Larson can play ANA's 'big and heavy' game if need be. I'm not sold on the Ducks being overpowering just yet...

To me if gary's refs allow the Ducks to play dirty which is basically their moniker...they'll move on.

If the series is called fairly I give the edge to EDM.

While I agree to let them battle if the Refs are gonna allow Perry to crash the net, Getzloaf to hack and slash and Kesler to sweep McDavids feet out going into the boards it's gonna be an issue. You can still play very tough hockey but it needs to be fair both ways. But agree I don't want to see 16 PP's either.

We will still get a superb player at 3/4/5. I will be VERY happy with

Vilari/Glass/Middlestadt/Heiskanen

If we get 3/4/5 there will be utter panic on these boards, but people need to just relax and realize there is talent in the top 5.

When I first got to Vancouver I worked the overnight shift at Home Depot. It was open 24 hours then. I would finish my shift and then get ready to go BCIT for a few courses I was taking. I got about 4 hours of sleep a day. That was a hard time.

Why? If oilers want to play dirty then nothing is stopping them. The ducks have always been a little dirty so to ask them not to play their style of game is a little unfair as well.
