I watch ESPN if there is a game I want to watch (baseball, basketball, football, etc.). I rarely watch their other programming except for maybe Mike and Mike occasionally. If I want to watch sports programming, I will tune into the NFL Network, NHL Network, MLB Network, NBA TV, etc. It really has nothing to do with ESPN, but simply they usually aren't talking about the subject I am interested in at the moment.

I did watch Fox Sports 1 for a while, but since they didn't renew Onrait and O'Toole, I find myself giving them the ESPN treatment as well. That's a network that no longer has any idea what it wants to be.

NHL network blows too. I wish we got TSN for July 1st and draft coverage. NBC sports a few years ago cut out of the end of the 1st round I believe to show some C level live sporting event.

I also recall rumors of their being offers on the table for some of our pending UFAs before the trade deadline.

Murray held out on pulling the trigger on a Chris Stewar for Spooner swap and that obviously backfired. He then held out at last years deadline with McGinn and had to settle for a last minute 3rd rounder for the guy. So, yeah, I'd say he held out again and it blew up in his face again.

They drew the lottery balls for the 1st pick and it was the Sabres numbers that came up , but then Bettman said no we're not ready to draw it yet, so they did the drawing again and it was then that Edmonton came up. Rightfully, the Sabres won that lottery. I'll try to find a video link.

Never had a big issue with his major trades. It was the free agent signings and the small deadline moves. Remember Leino and Hodgson were some of the folks that he signed deals with. He made a few shrewd moves, but not letting Vanek go for 4 1st round picks will always stick with me.

lol, it's still there. I heard someone talking on Sunday about him being labeled the coach and GM on Wikipedia I think, but it was changed pretty quickly.
