Bonino is a 3rd line center who will get overpaid. Where do you think Justin Williams is going to want to play next year? On a team that might make the playoffs, or on a team that has a chance to contend?
Unless it's on a one year deal for money the Flyers can fit in on the cap, signing a significant UFA to a multi year contract is a ridiculously bad idea for where the Flyers are now as a team.

I think the problem with most people is they lack the knowledge of other players to pull a name out of thin air for who would be a good fit on the team. I know I am in that department.

The only thing I recognize is I'm just a fan, it's not my full time job to know all the details of which UFA might want what. My opinion is the Flyers need one and posted a list of UFA forwards. Fair enough. The trade market has a lot of variables we can only speculate on. How you use players you already have on your team is completely under your control.
