So they canned Lebrun and Burnside but kept Melrose?? Makes sense.

The Leafs will not get a better return in the trade market then this summer. They should deal Nylander for Shattenkirk. Marner for McDonagh and they could get a first round pick for Mathews. They'd have to sweeten the pot. Mathews, Zaitsev, JVR, Kadri, Kapanan and 6 first round picks for a first round pick.

I'm very happy for LeBrun and Burnside, and even happier for me. ESPN hates hockey, and I hate ESPN. I'm looking forward to perhaps seeing one or both on the NHL Network. They'll both get snatched up very quickly, I am sure.
