The OL issues are way overblown. You can't grade our OL by conventional metrics... It's kinda the whole point of the way the roster's been built. Window's wide open.

I still like Patrick at 1. I have also seen him play about 30 times in the past 2 years. Liljegren is my wild card. He's either 3 or he's 8 for me. I have Vilardi ahead of Mittelstadt. I do because I think he's better for Van then Mittelstadt.

He's not my first choice for Van. He's not even a first rounder in my books but he's still not invisible to others.

It seems that management fired WD and now bring in Green to develop the following players into the line up.

BB, Goldy, Dahlen, OJ, JV and 2017 1st.

This is not about making playoffs. But developing and hopefully changing the style to be more offensive. JB talked about the first 3 players as adding to the scoring. Don't think he meant for Comets. They will be on the roster during the season if not from the beginning. JV depends. Might be in and out. OJ and 1st, if not college bound, will be kept to develop outside of junior.

The above will be done for hockey reasons and generate interest in the team. Fans will watch a team that can score. They will take the losses. But boring, hardworking fringe player hockey is out. Otherwise they would have kept WD.
