Seems like it, it seems every team has a different interpretation of what the poho does. Some he's over everyone others just game day stuff. Of course ours will have no say over Garth - Upstate_isles
No, but he'll have a say in how many bathrooms are to be put into the new arena. |

I really hope if Peter Luukko takes the job and it comes with the title of president over hockey ops, he has real power to make changes and it's not just some fake title. Anything is possible and we will find out. |

Mostly good things from a business standpoint, which is great but Garf seems like will still be in charge of player personal (which he knows nothing)
So how is Luukko truly benefiting on a player/players standpoint? |

I doubt Peter will be able to help much in terms of players. We would have to hope he has the power to remove Garth and hire a GM. |

If new owners leave Garf in charge again this year without an experienced guy in front office, sorry team with continue to stay stagnant .....
Wouldnt even be worth watching next year |

I cannot argue this. I just do not see Garth going anywhere this year. |

I wouldn't go that far. If jt resigns and Ladd and chimera play like they did in the second half (no reason to think they won't now that they are acclimated) and we get ho sang and barzal full time I still think this team is a playoff team. As bad as they were this year to start and the games they blew etc, they still missed by a point. No reason to think the two young guys up front and fingers crossed pulock on d that this team won't have more speed and skill and be better overall. Also halak and greiss tandem would be good and Lee has 40 goal potential |

We also need a bounce back year from Hamonic. He was awful this season, and was arguably the single biggest reason for the team's terrible start which led to them missing the playoffs. |

Ho-Sang & Barzal are Not Mathews & Laine, point being, these kids are/should be up with team to help and gain experience. I dont have high expectations for both bc team is filled w/vets, what the kids do is only a bonus not a savior.

Blows, been saying that and he's only good bc of contract status and is a 2nd pairing dman. But should have been dealt for Hall, what a dumb decision by Garf to keep him, Poor management showing inept ability to build a roster |

Ok there aren't many Mathews and laines out there but ho sang was always a top 5 talent but off ice made him drop and Baral will surprise you. The point was drop the quines and princes and get these guys up here, they are both fast and top 6 material and the isles need that |

I get that, Barzal should have stayed up last year as a 3C flanked by Ladd/Chimera on LW and another experienced RW and would have been fine, but again poor decisions by management
Ho-sang came up at right time to give team a spark |
