I think it was the 2006 Olympics, it was on at like 2am, I had no idea what the rules were, and I did't really understand what is going on but I was completely mesmerized by it (mighta been the ganga). I still am a little shaky on the rules but could watch it for hours.

I think the rules are pretty much the same as Bocce Ball. I could be wrong but stone/stones closest to the center dot are counted.

I have to ask. Do you mean The Brier (the men's National Championship), or a smaller bonspiel (that's right, bonspiel) sponsored by the Ice Cream people? 'Cause The Brier is a big deal up here.

BTW, curling is a (frank)ing difficult sport!! I've only done it a handful of times and basically alternated between sailing it straight through the house and stopping it halfway down the sheet!

You say tomato, I say (frank) you! Yea the Brier Cup. I didn't think the sets were that intense either.

Why did you want to see Briere's cup? It was probably gross, even though he's been retired for a few years.

Yep. Simple rules. Closest to the button (center ring) scores. Only the team with their stone closest and as many as they have inside the opposition's closest. Each team throws 8 stones, alternating turns. Each person throws 2. 10 ends make up a match, unless tied, then you throw extra ends.
...oh, and you drink the whole time!!
Don't ask me about the strategies. I have no clue.

One question, for the new blog, should i copy and paste the info from the prior blog (s) at the bottom of the blog or don't bother?

Nah, some on here have short attention spans. Don't forget that the Sens fans aren't too smart and might get confused.
Appreciate your work previewing the series.
