That's the German's though. That guy only signed on because the Women's bobsleigh suits were too revealing!

Surprised that nobody has pointed out the hot Danish curler that posed nude for something somewhere. Madeleine DuPont, I believe. Happy hunting gentleman.

One year for spring break in college, me and bunch of other guys went up to Mont Tremblant to do a little skiing. It was -25 with the windchill, so we spent most of our trip drunk off our asses watching the Breyers Cup. Changed my whole opinion on curling

I have to ask. Do you mean The Brier (the men's National Championship), or a smaller bonspiel (that's right, bonspiel) sponsored by the Ice Cream people? 'Cause The Brier is a big deal up here.

BTW, curling is a (frank)ing difficult sport!! I've only done it a handful of times and basically alternated between sailing it straight through the house and stopping it halfway down the sheet!

Had it at the town pool growing up. Of course we made it more of a game about trying to smash each other in the feet with the discs.

The Terri-poo we had when I was a kid lived to be 21. We used to say she was immortal! Crazy dog, on days when her legs wouldn't let her go down the stairs too well, she would launch herself off the top of seven stairs and then just get up and walk to the back door and ask to be let out!
Most days she moved like a spring chicken.

- Tonybere

Dog we had was a Norwich/ Jack Russel mix that lived to 19. Went blind at 16. We referred to him as "The Dog That Refused To Die." Loved us, but tried to eat anything that came into the yard. Sent a Pit packing once in his better days.

I know. It was crazy. Lots of days we thought, "Ok, we should think about putting her down." And then she would go weeks where everything seemed alright. How do you end an animal's life if they seem to still have more good days than bad? I had literally spent my entire childhood with that dog. One night she just passed peacefully in her sleep.
- Tonybere

That's a relief.
Had to put down the first dog with my wife while I was hung over. That sucked.
Last one died in the OR with a huge tumor. That was 3 years ago and she's still not ready for another dog.

Yea we did that too haha. Scoring is difficult, rules confusing also. My son loves it, they have it a few places here where we live. Beaches

Kid and I caught that probably 10 years ago during the Olympics, and we were glued to the TV. Usually catch a little every year.
My neighbor had a shuffleboard court when we were kids, that was fun.

I think it was the 2006 Olympics, it was on at like 2am, I had no idea what the rules were, and I did't really understand what is going on but I was completely mesmerized by it (mighta been the ganga). I still am a little shaky on the rules but could watch it for hours.
