My miniature poodle, Kirby, will be 19 god willing in June. He has become tougher to maintain as he has aged but he is the baby before we had babies.

Poodles and chihuahuas suck. I hate them lol. This one chihuahua will race me to the stop sign trying to eat me haha

The Terri-poo we had when I was a kid lived to be 21. We used to say she was immortal! Crazy dog, on days when her legs wouldn't let her go down the stairs too well, she would launch herself off the top of seven stairs and then just get up and walk to the back door and ask to be let out!
Most days she moved like a spring chicken.

Had the same age with a shepard mix. Although he should have been put down a year or two before but my mom wouldn't do it.

I know. It was crazy. Lots of days we thought, "Ok, we should think about putting her down." And then she would go weeks where everything seemed alright. How do you end an animal's life if they seem to still have more good days than bad? I had literally spent my entire childhood with that dog. One night she just passed peacefully in her sleep.
