Mr. French,

You never answered my questions:

- Which of Valimaki, Foote or Hague would be the best fit for Toronto?

- Knowing the Leafs with be drafting 17th or 18th, are there any potential high ranked studs that could fall to the Leafs?

While exaggerated, that's pretty much how we feel these days.

Andrew Berkshire‏ @AndrewBerkshire

Bergevin says Galchenyuk's a winger, Julien says ideally he's a centre. Awesome

To be fair, GM doesn't appear to be Bergevin's best position either.

I think Brannstrom is the guy to pick.

Yeah, I think I’d go max 3.3M and 3 years…but ideally something a little less than that.

He might be able to get more as ufa though.

Well with Washington winning and the Habs losing.

I'll go with "no".

Yes. The U18's solidified it. He's much better than Liljejegegregend and anybody else in this draft as defender.

Interesting.

My guy remains Foote though... if he somehow drops low enough.... ...

Worried he's like Nurse. He's not a PP guy in the NHL, but in junior he scores so much because he's the PP QB.

A pick in the 20-30 range could be much worse than drafting Darnell Nurse 2.0.

But I get what you're saying. I think he's good enough to become a solid top 4 guy in the NHL.

He's already 6"3 too...

Didn't Foote only score 6 goals?

What about Hague though? Big and looks like he can score. What's the downside? I'm assuming skating maybe?
