Yeah he is. He was just mentioned later in the article and I thought of him last and was too lazy to go and edit what I had already typed.

The sad thing is I can see Burke being tempting.

I just really hope Pegula doesn't hire "character" for "character's" sake. He already seems too enamored with McDermott and his "faith based approach"(I'm not arguing against someone's beliefs, that's a whole other thing, but when you make it your approach to coaching football that makes me pause. And when the owner cites that first out of the gate at the presser that also makes me pause.) That was Ralph Wilson's main downfall. He hired/drafted way too many boy scouts. And now the Bills haven't seen the playoffs since Gerbe was still poopting his drawers.

And I and others have already conceded that Draisaitl should've been the pick, but also, put him on this Sabres team and I'd bet his numbers don't look so rosy either. The points is it was a weak draft at the top. Ekblad didn't look so hot for a lot of the season either. The only one who looked good from the top 5 was Draisaitl.

I dont think friedman mentioned any of them as candidates...he said "type" probably referring to the structure those teams have

That bottom line numbers don't matter. The "oh, he was the 2nd forward taken, and that the 3rd forward taken has better numbers but started playing later..." you can explain away anything you don't like.
