I went from having no clue how he was a projected 1st rounder to loving the guy after hearing how he agreed to be used by Michigan... His role was so specific & unselfish, it could have really (frank)ed up his stock if he hadn't made so many splash plays on special teams & offense.

He's a cross between a LB and a safety IMO, but he's a playmaker extrordinaire.

JG could be a potential stud, I'd hold onto him. Nice trade getting Cooks though, he's going to be great for you guys.

I don't understand the Gillislee offer sheet lol, it's so random.

me

I've already posted what I would have done numerous times, too tired to type out another 200-300 words just to get the same old tired "you want to become the new Oilers???" response.

Actually, for God sakes, thank you for saving me from that.

What got my attention was the 'long suffering fanbase'. We have yet to begin to suffer and the past 20 years have been the best in franchise history.

I wonder who is going to draft Joe Mixon?

The Ravens need to replace Ray Rice.

i don't know, he has missed on some rb's/wr's in the past. a lot of them end up out of the league before they hit 30. i agree with not paying blount, but gillislee seems like a typical meh/effort guy who only picks up the yards in front of him and looks better in small spurts because he relies on energy for his yards.

In our best 20 years we've missed the playoffs about 7 times.

Maybe Nucker is right?

I'd love to see him as a slot CB.

He's going to be a steal since he'll slip in the draft now, assuming he'll stay on the field.

I tend to agree. Our franchise has had a pretty good run. It's time to suck for awhile.

I'd say Forrest Lamp if he's still there. Whoever's left out of the top DE's.

Sounds like you're not so confident he's a second round pick anymore.
- CanuckDon[/

Hah I immediately took issue with you guys thinking he's a top ten pick. The debate pivoted. I proposed a bet based on those terms.

1-10 is my original offer. No way Heiskanen squeezes in there. Picks 11-14 are always a complete poop show. He could get taken there. Not a hill I would die on. Accept if you want to.

My original point was you guys should trade down a bit and take some safe picks on defensemen. Cal Foote is a safe pick. The options for additions that will bring offense (outside NH, NP and maybe GV) are kinda garbage this year. Next year and the year after have legitimate offensive talent.

Why gamble on kind of a crumby drafting year when timing-wise you guys should take defensemen and there are a few safe picks that aren't getting picked immediately?

So Green is Lindens choice but not Bennings? Am I reading between the lines correctly?
- CanuckDon

Tony Gallagher just asked Moj a question I have been dying to ask also, why do people say Green is great for developing?
Grenier Jensen Shinkaruk? All busts under Canucks Archibald Subban Pedan JV ? He has developed no one yet.
