Nor do I, Dan. Sadly.

No not at all, it's the inarguable truth. It just gets redundant reading the same posts every day when we all know what he is and, for the most part, wholly agree with each other about it. - eichiefs9
Yeah, I hear you. I just posted a couple times hinting at it and wanted to kick my own ass because of it. It's nauseating. As you said it is the inarguable truth. Like I said in a previous post, I have to step away from here for a few days otherwise it's all I would do. |

Am I missing some report or are you just saying that you don't think we'll pay what Sakic is demanding at this point? Because I agree with the latter, I'd rather keep Barzal and Pulock and go after Johnson or someone else similar. - eichiefs9
Yup. Way too high of a price. |

I mean there are times where it is obviously relevant to post, just not all the time.
That's a general statement too, not directed at you or any one person. |

I won't bang the Tyler Johnson drum again, but yeah I think there are comparable options out there that will not cost our two best young prospects. |

I like him as a player, I just don't really see DET having a reason to move him unless they are planning to really blow it up and go full-rebuild.
I thought he was younger than 27 to be honest, so maybe he doesn't fit into their long-term plans but I still don't really see them shipping him out. I haven't the slightest idea what they'd want for him either. He's a good player but a career-best season of 54pts won't exactly bring back a massive haul. Not saying he'd be cheap, I just don't really know where to categorize his trade value. 1st and MDC? I have no idea if that is too much or not, but he does have a favorable contract too. |

I didn't take it that way. Once again, I hear you and you're right. It is relevant to the post occasionally. Hence the reason I wanted to than you for breaking up the monotony of the Snow-bashing with the Kovalchuk post. All of these grade blogs end up in Snow-bashing. |

I don't think MDC has much value...especially if he has been scouted |

gotta keep an eye on Chicago, Anaheim, tampa and Winnipeg to make some changes especially with the expansion draft.. Anaheim is going to need to add some comes that they can actually expose in the draft |

Especially since guys drafted after him are already playing for the big club and he still needs more seasoning. |

Kinda makes people realize why not many moves were made this trade deadline. |

Nope, not at all. I'm saying that I get a little tired of bashing Snow all the time. We all do it, and I'm one of the biggest culprits. It's just nice to step away from it for a couple days. |

Have to think this will finally be the offseason of trades Dan. If the Isles cannot get something done this offseason ii's pretty sad. |

He might be a bit of a project, but 41pts in 75gp in your first pro year isn't something to necessarily thumb your nose at. |

I did not watch MDC play, but he seemed to come on at the end going by the numbers. If he needs to be included in a deal for a bigger piece fine. I still hope he can be a good forward. |

it is when you were taken 5th overall and you look at some of the players drafted right after, which I advise you that you don't.. you will throw up on the keyboard.I liked the pick at the time... everyone did... he just hasn't progressed quickly.. |
