They had it back then?

Yes, but you had to keep score by hand and use calculators.

Nice.

I can't even remember why I did, I think it was because my older brother was a devils fan.

- mdw7413

My Father loved baseball (Old Brooklyn Dodgers & still a fan now) & basketball, weird that I then got into hockey & football. My Uncle was a Ranger fan from the early60s & would throw the games on whenever he would come over once in a while. I just sat down w him one day (1984/85) & loved it & he told me all about the game & the Rangers. By 86 I was hooked.

yup yup. As long as NYR sticks to their game plan and don't get frustrated and go off the reservation, they should be fine.

I appologize to any Native Americans reading this.

You had to look at that box scores, and tabulate stats on a sheet of paper.

There are currently 58 people in the Habs room and none of them are players.

Growing up in West Jersey I remember watching a few Flyers games. My dad only watched baseball and football. Which I lost interest in during HS.
Fast forward to1989 at my buddy's apartment whose neighbor would buy us beer. He was a Rangers fan, so I started following along.
All downhill from there.

Wasn't Howard Stern on after the games?

Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure to enjoy a hard fought series between both our teams. It was close, but the better team won imo!

Good luck vs the Sens, I'm hoping you get rid of them in 4.

Cheers and until next time.

Thank you, sir. I really enjoyed watching that series. It was a damn war, and what I love about playoff hockey. I don't think the Habs are too far off at all. Just need a top center, although those sometimes can be hard to find.

We would need to give up some young prospects or 1st round picks to make it happen.

Something Bergevin has yet to do in his tenure.

Thanks Scabeh.

Hell of a series, I'm surprised it didn't go 7, but I'm glad it didn't.

I am not really sure what I think about Matt Duchene as a top center, but he's a guy that could be available. Wouldn't surprise me if the Habs made a run at him.

Free agency is a little light at the position this year, unless you think that Joe Thornton would ever consider leaving San Jose (which I don't think he will), and which may not be a good idea even if he was amenable to leaving.

Duchene is definetely a target.... I can't shake off the idea of the Habs trading Galchenyuk for him.

We'll see how it goes. But we definetely need to bring in more offense. Starting at centre.

I like Danault, but if he's still centering Pacioretty and Radulov next year.... let's just say it wouldn't be ideal.
