Congrats Sens fans. A well deserved and hard fought win. Karlsson is a horse and I'm so happy for MacArthur. Love that guy, he's such a character and heart kind of player. So necessary to win this time of year. Good luck against the Rags.

I'd imagine you will have Jim hugson now that the leafs are out. Good luck vs. the rangers. Hope he doesn't bring his .950 save % into Rd 2 for your guys sake.

It's just a carry-over from those Sens-Leafs series in the late 90's/early 00's, when the CBC coverage was so overtly biased that at one point one of the interviewers literally told a Leafs player "I hope you win". Impartial sports journalism at its finest.

The Bruins should be pretty pleased with their effort, overall - and I would agree that McAvoy is making we wish the Senators had just kept their original pick last year and drafted him at #12 like they were supposed to.

The sudden escalation in the play of Brassard and Ryan has really been something to behold, though... factor in MacArthur, and it's almost like they have 2 legitimate scoring lines to call upon. I'm equally impressed with watching Harpur and Claesson... they're playing ahead of their years, and they may well have just benched Wideman until further notice.

Good call. I think Harper and Claesson go the distance. Wideman and Borowiecki ride the the pine. Add Chabot into the mix for next year and the Sens D is looking formidable.
