This team looks different. Much more emotion, much more toughness, look much hungrier and even AV looks to be in a great mindset with making adjustments/lineups changes etc. To win in 6 showed the killer instinct theyve rarely possessed over the years. Mtl threw everything at them and the rangers figured out no matter how they wanted to play, they'd still find a way. Now some rest to heal up and get a 2nd round on paper that should be easier. I can't wipe the smile off my face! Here's to 15 more periods between Ottawa and Boston

Rangers need more from step, Hayes, kreider and Miller. Very fortunate to win this series with none of them doing much of anything. Miller and Hayes got a little better as the series went along. And I'm not sure how this series turns out without unsung guys like Smith and Fast...both were phenomenal

I don't know, looking long term, I am kind of torn between wanting the Capitals out now, or a 2nd round of Pitt vs Washington just beating the hell out of one another and the winner acting like they won the Cup already going into conference final

Im with you on this. It would be AWESOME to see the leafs win. However Caps v Pens will work in our favor if we make the ECF.

Pretty crazy that Jones, Price & Dubnyk couldn't even force a Game 7 let alone win a series with these efforts. 5-12 combined record.

It's basically the crux of why the 7 seed was of the upmost importance the last two years. People gonna say that pens and caps is the SCF too

Praise for Fast, like it. All should remember this when calling for him to be benched or go in expansion. He and Lindberg were tremendous this series. Need to find a way to keep both, especially at their cap hits.

Not easy to predict what sort of deal they would get, if they both would stay Rangers. Maybe something we could discuss before Rd2...?

Man, that's a tough call. Pitt is playing really well and has already moved on. Caps still have something to prove and Toronto could take the series, my bet is on the Caps. Not sure who I want to face, hope it goes 7. I think Wash/ Pitt would be a great series and the bruised winner having a hangover like you said.
Let's go Bruins. Take it to 7.

Wasn't gonna change regardless. I always been the "heel" might as well do what I'm good. Just different ways to approach it.

What? You're good and should be. Team you guys support just won 3 in a row, during the playoffs. Your particular rooting interest of Hayes played well in the view of many during game 6. All good discussion points.
