but back then they had guys like Giacomin, Park, Ratelle, Gilbert and Howell so it kind of evens out

True, I'm still in awe of Girardi turning back the clock, what a difference

Rooting for Boston-Ottawa to go 7

it reminded me of the hit Girardi laid on Mike Green in 2012 right before Staal scored overtime winner

Dan Girardi is back, no question

he'll have a moment or two when he has a tough time the rest of the playoffs, as any defenseman in the NHL does when they are defending great players

Well if Ottawa and the Caps win today could start earlier right?

Here is to hoping Bruins and Toronto win today.

I really don't know if they have set dates in mind for when the next series start, or if they would move it up it series ended today

the league really shouldn't go 5 days without hockey with the buzz it has right now

Yeah, 5 days is to much even if it helps with some banged up players.

There was a game this series every other day I think. Kind of crazy. Some series have had multiple 2 day breaks in between games.

My daughter came home with about 2 minutes left. I just held out my hand and said "2 minutes!". We stood about a foot away from the TV until it was over. Hugged her so hard I heard something crack.
