He (frank)ed over Lou..I'm sure he would at least talk to him to see what he has to offer.
And with the Leafs loving to pluck players from the KHL I could see it. No other team can offer him a big one year contract worth boat loads of money that has a chance at a cup.
I'd say the Oilers as well but they have to resign Drisaitl - Santo_44
Leafs can't just sign him though. Would have to trade for him
I'm so curious to see what the Habs do with Galchenyuk and Radulov this off-season.
I thought (and hoped) they'd overpay Galchenyuk big time, but I'm not sure now after his awful play in the last month+ and in this series. He's really nothing more than a second line scoring winger; he'll never be a centre.
Rads on the other hand proved he's worth 7m a season, but for how long, and with their limited cap space, do they commit to the same core and to a 31 year old as their main offensive punch with Price just a year away from an extension?

Kinda....I doubt he wants to play for a rebuilding team in NJ. They'd take whatever they can get for him. Even if it's a B prospect.
Pretty sure Kovalchuk can wait till he's 35 next year and can sign wherever without NJ's consent. - Santo_44
every team in the league has to approve of him coming back or he has to go back to Jersey.. something along those lines. He cant just sign where ever. I doubt a B level prospect gets him out of Jersey, lots of team would want him

c'mon... Galchenyuk is a 1st line center... 7x7... and Radulov is the best player in the world 7x8.... sounds good to me.
a nice 15M on the CAP... let's hope for lots of years.
