Coming into the game Price was 93.8% and Hank was 94.4%. After this game it will be around 93.6% and 94.7%.
Bottom line, Price played well enough for the team to win if they actually scored. Every game except game 2 NYR finished with more scoring chances and more high danger scoring chances than the Habs. Did Price play perfectly, no. He played well enough to win a series if anyone on this team could actually generate offense. - nords21

he's the only asset they have to fill the holes upfront. plus he was just nominated for the Vezina!! - fidopro
The team is sorely lacking in meaningful talent. They currently have a few great second line players and a handful of bottom 6 role players. Defense has 2 bright spots and one is fading into old age. Price is the only reason they aren't a lottery team most seasons and thats probably the biggest issue. |

So tell me the teams that are willing to trade a lot for a 9-12 million dollar goalie - cburgess
how the hell should I know?!?
pretty sure there are many teams who would give MB a call though. starting with Philly, NYI, CGY, VAN, WPG, DAL.... |

#Habs Price expressed disappointment in his inability to make "timely saves" throughout the series. |

Teams would rather try a free agent goalie for half the price and not have to give up any asetts |

I barely watched half the games this season because I hate the make Up of the team.
Next season, I have to believe it Will be more of the same... Meaning I'll watch even less games.
They are médiocre and bland as (frank). Terrible mix. - Pecafan Fan
Same here, I'm frankly more excited about the potential changes we could make (bergevin, price, pleky etc). |

It's just dumb. If the game actually involved a USANT or a service person was being shown on the scoreboard, I'd be fine with with. It just a lack of intelligence. |

2 things
1) Watching Montreal respond to adversity in this series was pathetic, particularly the last 3 games. They absolutely folded the tent the second NY got its Richard up. And that wasn't easy on Proce
2) But... putting Price's numbers aside, when NY absolutely needed goals in this series... how difficult was it for them to score? I think it's wonderful that Price was able to make a lot of saves while Montreal played from behind but NY never really struggled for the goals they needed. Price wasn't the reason they lost. He wasn't even one of the main reasons they lost. But he played like a $5-$6 million goalie. Not sure you pay $10-$11 million for what he just provided. |

ok thats fine. He's just not going to bring you enough to fill all the holes up front. Its a tough situation. They pretty much have to make up their mind on him this summer. |
