I'd second guess the numbers. The KHL doesn't normally publish numbers, and those were salaries not including signing bonuses which is a huge thing the KHL does for their own players.

And even if they're accurate, a USD there goes a hell of a lot further than it does over here.

IMO, yes it would... Next step for Dahlen is transitioning his skillset to NA ice. His hockey IQ/vision/skating/shooting/passing don't require further development on euro ice based on what I've seen.

Benning's problem is coddling these euros, Gillis gave out NTC and Benning gives out contracts with out clauses. One knew how to talk and the other knows how to shave that's the total talent of our last 2 GMs.

Ah, my bad... Thought it was AHL vs SEL, and I'd rather see him in the AHL than the SEL although I'm confident his skillset will adapt quickly & he wouldn't be out of place in the NHL. If he wants to go to the SEL if he doesn't make the NHL, it won't help him much...

I think the big reason Tryamkin left was home sick . You do have to listen to the other explanations also. You just can't sweep it under the carpet and label the player as a bad attitude.

Saw the references for return but not contract signing. It's thin. But let's see.

I didn't bring up coaching with you. But that interview in Russia did. Which you went off of as being official. If you want to rely only on official statements from JB then that's not showing independent thought. This is not a stat issue. So it's not black and white. Accept that. The info is pretty thin.
