what this team really needs is more talent upfront so the winner of the Molson Cup is not always the goalie, every (frank)in year for the past 2 decades,
and that when they dominate the first period or the 1st half of the game they actually score and take the lead by more than 1 poopy goal (and that's if they're lucky).

With that in mind...does Price not re-signing here a season from now, and Markov leaving finally triggers the full rebuild this team has been needing? |

Markov is not taking anyone spot right now. But it could help mtl sucking and picking high, yes. |

I already said what I would do months ago, and didn't make any friends in here.
I don't think this team needs a full rebuild, they still had a 100 pts season.
They need to find a decent centerline and a LD to play with Weber. |

Well...they never did do a thorough rebuild...and in the NHL these days if you want to be a serious contender, it seems you have to go through it.
It will be interesting to see what kind of summer the Habs will have. |

The team has had chances and there have been too many hit posts and missed nets. Last few games the number of times Weber has hit the post requires two hands. Just hope that the puck shifts an extra inch in the right direction the next few games and they'll be fine. |

yes...right in the years where the prospects coming up suck...contrary to the last few years with the resurgence of young talented prospects...

Seriously...if they don't resign Radulov...I haven't watched the UFA market closely, but I don't think it's the Klondike this year.
Let's hope Charles Hudon turns out to be a special player because they have nothing coming up in the pipeline for a while. |

well, it's a bad draft year this year apparently, but can they really predict that far? I don't think so.
