The only reason I'd want San Jose to lose is because of Joe Thornton. Brent Burns and Joe Pavelski are fun to watchaikovsky play hockey.

Heres some talking points:

-SJ loses a heartbreaker: Good, want them beat up a bit seen as if we make the Final, we'll have played at least 18 games.
-pitt still the team to beat: I saw CBJ as the toughest matchup for PIT, and it's over in 5. I don't see how any team beats PIT.
-can we ever have enough LHD men?: Defer to Tom

For her birthday I took her to the last Hawks game vs the Panthers down in Sunrise. I've never seen a team get beat so badly in person. Final was 6-0 Panthers I think. She literally cried during the game. (My fault for springing for the unlimited drinking package bc she was poopfaced 25 min in.) All I kept hearing was, "Please just score ONE for my birthday."




They never did.

All going to depend on what they do. The way other teams are getting better and aren't as tied into 2-3 players, its going to be tough for them.

Yup. It's been infuriating to be so close, but JUST outside the bubble for the past 5 years.

She was just drunk enough to not have any emotional control. It's was the worst of all worlds. I hate this term, but the game was an epic fail. I sat there for 2 1/2 hours shaking my head.

So after the game I took her to downtown Ft. Lauderdale and made sure she wouldn't care anymore. Then we went back to the hotel I booked.


(PSA: when a hotel's Travelocity listing says "gay friendly", pay attention)
