Imagine what 7 sophomore slumps look like in Toronto? Carnage on the sportspages. The Coyotes need a Mike Sullivan not a Daryl Sutter. Someone like Travis Green to start out coaching their AHL team and learn the entire franchise top to bottom and then step in when Tippet gets fired. They need a coach that learns to trust their young guys before he even meets their older guys.

It's dangerous to assume that because the Leafs had every single thing go right for them that a team of rookies in Arizona would yield similar results. You can't expect every one of your rookies to meet or exceed expectations.
