Well, considering that the Caps were the Prez Trophy winners again... and of course, the funny never gets old when they get dumped in the playoffs.

Looked clearly low....hip on knee, just about the knee. OV is a large man and i think Kadri just tried to go hip on hip but missed

See the issue for me was the fact his body was a projectile towards the knee area. The angle he took was a clipping angle. He didn't line him up and swing in for the classic hip check. Not all low hits are hip checks. I'm bad at explaining the things in my head. I hope this makes sense.

Ovechkin did try to dodge and jumped in doing so, which helps nothing ever. I do acknowledge that.

id love washington to struggle but not like that. and i fully admit OV has made a lot of questionable hits in his own day but still. Never want to see guys go down. Hope hes okay.
