Playoff structure has to Burn the Blue Jackets, they finish 4 overall and have to play the 2nd overall team in the first round
- Kaynine

Not really. Remove that flukey winning streak they had and they are no better than a .500 club. No shock they were manhandled in the PO's.

Nah…why have the Sharks win a cup before Van so we can pick at 31?

We need to concentrate on somehow getting a pick from 10-20

Can flip it up with that for Oil pick and Sbisa maybe?

Woo cares if they get a Cup before as long as Nucks build to get one.

He is still owed over $18 million so yeah probably not.
- classic321

What difference does that make? Torts was owed three more years on his deal...Columbus ate that up and threw in a second rounder to get it done. Chicago knows quenville would be scooped right up, no need to worry about remaining term.

I like you because you think there's an end to this, you still have that little boy spirit in you. The only way this changes is if the Aquilini's go down in a plane crash.

I'm glad Trevor has decided to vote and all, I just don't trust him with his own ballet.

How do you know that?
You're comparing a $2 million dollar salary to a $6 million salary.

Say you fire him and he decides to retire, you think an owner is going to take that risk of paying out $18+ million for him to stay a home.

Big difference

Retire....you really think that's how he is wired? I bet Chicago ownership is already hearing from teams....all off the record of course, to see if there is a possibility of a coaching change. You suggest that they don't want to risk paying him for three years of retirement....I think it's exactly the reason they may consider a change , to avoid paying him for three more seasons
