I would just go on the shelf, honor the non-compete, and keep collecting a paycheck.

It would be tempting.

agreed, just posted because a while ago i brought up the implication of his extension. Like if there was some sort of opt out available to the sabres based on this years performance.

Well, let's hope that the Pegula's find a good set of talent for the Sabres front office as they did apparently with McDermot as HC for the Bills (time will tell, but I like what I see/hear so far).

Somebody has to literally kill Russ Brandon, get that Ahole as far away from these teams as possible.

Sabres better get someone experienced at the President of Hockey Operations, and a good closer for GM...there is a boatload to get done and not a lot of time to do so.
They simply can't afford to f up the opportunity to find gems available as a result of the Expansion Draft.

Yes man - Brandon
How he continues to have a job....... He is that typical ass kissing co-worker we all see at our work. How Kim/Terry don't see through his bullish!t, is beyond me!

If he stays in the marketing side of things and absolutely no where else in the organization. I'm ok with it . Give him a room in another zip code from the Sabres.

Julien BriseBois & Paul Fenton for GM

Bob Boughner, Lane Lambert, Travis Green for NHL HC

To me those are some of the best young ready to jump up candidates out there

We can only hope, but there have been some rumors on personnel choices for management.

That's what everyone was saying. Boughner's done a good job with his team. I can't remember who it is, but I remember hearing good things.
