We will never know. But i do think there will be plenty of quality d-men available as a result of the expansion draft. An id like to think Murray had a plan in place that will never transpire now

I'm not digging around to find out when he was a healthy scratch, but he played 50 games and missed 2 months with a collarbone injury. So that means he missed 32 total. If he was a healthy scratch it was only for like 5 games.

He won the sh!t out of the Kane trade... Armia, Myers, and Stafford have done little or been stop gaps. Lemieux was sunken cost but could still be missed.

He won the SH1T out of the ROR trade as well... Grigo and Zads are average to bottom NHLers. Compher is the biggest piece I miss here.

Lehner is the only one that people could say he lost on. Especially since we took Legwand.

Don't get me wrong... I loved Zads... he shows promise.... but I don't think he will ever be better than a 2nd pairing guy at best.

Every highlight has a lowlight of someone blowing past him. He is young. I hope I am wrong. I liked him a lot but it's not like I'd trade ROR back for him... get what I'm saying?

I like the idea of Drury for GM, though not sure he'd want to come back to Buffalo. 2 things:

1. Pegs must have someone in mind at GM with all the things coming up. Expect a quick hire.

2. A coach will not be hired before a GM. Don't expect a re-tred Ruff anytime soon
