Everything would have to go right for us to make the playoffs next season. I just don't see it.

I'm hoping next season can be a transition year, a step back on the right track after we've been so derailed

If Disco signs a contract that says he can't put Moulson on Eichels wing once unless forced to due to a lot of injuries then I guess a 4th line role and occasional 2nd like PP duty would be okay but that's a last resort.

If we could sign one of these guys and trade for, say Brodin, I would be pretty happy with the offseason

Problem is we're likely stuck with 47's contract. His com parables are that of a top pairing D man which is just an utter joke. We likely can't bring in enough new guys to bump him down to sixth Dman which is about what he should be at half his salary. Antipin sure. Hopefully he transitions as well as Zatisev has but we don't know that he will. I'm sure Murray will trade for one as well but will it be Left side or right? In my opinion we're kind of in a jam because we need a top pairing left shot and a 2nd pairing right shot. Unless Antipin or McCabe can play the right side.

Left side if we add Antipin and Guhle that leaves us with

McCabe, Antipin, Guhle, Gorges. Falk Assuming Gorges is out somehow that completes your left side. Problem is I don't think any of those three are the top pairing left shot we need. Not yet anyway.

The right side it's Risto, BADgosian and that's it.

They could do something like...

Antipin McCabe
Guhle (Poor Soul) BADgosian

but that's if they think McCabe could come over to the right.

am thinking only one...guhle looks to be in...if they sign antipin, he'll be in...there's McCabe and risto...and methinks they'll only be able to move only one of bogo/gorges...falk as #7
