Several NHL execs expressed skepticism that Liljegren will be in their top 10. Believe Miro Heiskanen/Cale Makar fighting for top D in 2017.

But how can a player be so dominant throughout the armature career and then turn submissive when they turn pro? - bloatedmosquito
In junior he was surrounded by itty bitty baby boy balls where in the NHL he's surrounded by man balls which make his seem correspondingly smaller. |

LOL...the irony of that Supersize Me situation was that it's the same if you ate 20 oranges per day for a month...you'd be sick as fu**ck. I know people who eat breakfast at McDiks every morning and live off white bread/milk and fatty foods and are doing just fine.
#moderation. - LordHumungous
Probably walk miles to get to McDiks and are burning all the calories that they're consuming that way. Ever since I stopped driving everywhere and started walking and doing most of my errands in town on foot and sticking to counting my calories and a plan I can eat anything I want and still lost the spare tire I was carrying in 4 months. |

I wonder if exposing Sutter and trading Tanev for RNH + 2017 1st would be a good way to go. Gives us a solid top 2 wth bo/rnh while the C we draft top 5 and the D we draft in mid round develop. Could even use that 1st and move up to ensure Foote (or Makar but i doubt we can move up that much) |

It would likely be Sutter and a pick, but I love this idea though. makes a lot of sense for Edomonton too. |

I don't know, they need to save some cap space, trading for Sutter gives them a third line center and saves them almost 2 million in cap space. |

More like tanev and sutter for RNH and their first. Makes some sense IMO. Might have to keep some of the contracts to make it work but I love the return. Both players would make edmonton cup favorites next year though... not a fan of that |

Tanev would get RNH and a 1st, we may add a late pick. they need to save cap for McDavid, they will need to dump another contract. They need to u/g their D and this does that while saving them cap space. Sutter has an NTC so only way to get rid is to expose to LV. I doubt LV would pass on Sutter. |

I was shocked to hear this but apparently Sutter is the most vocal guy in the dressing room. Sutter and Henrik are the main leaders of the team. Sutter will NOT be exposed. |

saying it again doesn't make it more true, IMO your valuation is OTL. A first rounder and a 24 year old that has hit 60+ points multiple times... It could happen, I wont deny that, but only because Chia overpays. All they have to do is get the player to waive a NTC, I'm pretty sure most guys would want to go to Edmonton at this point. |
