I see with the Oil are doing.... allowing everyone on the Sharks to score in one game thus lessening the desire of the Sharks to score next game. Very smart!

But in all seriousness, I hope the oil win this series. Who doesn't like watching McDavid.

They won two games without the help of Draisaitl and McDavid.

That's playoffs

Unlikely heros and depth scoring

There was never any chance we were gonna get swept. We're in this team's class beyond any shadow of a doubt.

If their experience does us in, so be it. But we CAN win this thing

- HB77

This. For sure we weren't going to get swept. We are quite a good team and SJ has recognized that, hell everybody has.

As for winning the series, Edmonton has a long road ahead if that is the case. The mental recovery from this game is going to be brutal, especially with a young team.

If they were gonna resign themselves to losing, the least they could've done was give enough effort to not let every important player on their team build up their confidence. Instead, now they're heading back home on their heels at the risk of losing one of the few advantages they have left (home ice) because their big boys are raring to go and ours (aside from Talbot) are far from it.

It's just one game but one game is all it takes to shape the outcome of an entire series.

Or it just pisses them off completely and they come out like banshees next game. A lot of pride was created this season. I don't think it will be so easily shattered.

Hard to tell with young'uns. Hormones and poop makes it easier to swat a fly in midair than to get a read of what they are thinking.

True.

I take some solace in the fact that the leaders on this team (McDavid, Talbot and Lucic) absolutely hate losing. I think they're gonna want to send a message next game.

This is where Lucic should step in and make a statement.
This night was nothing more than embarrassing.

Refs aren't allowing any fights and adding more penalty minutes wasn't going to accomplish anything tonight.

Burn the tape from tonight and start fresh Thursday. Nothing else can be done.
