I think it's best to avoid all contact with the poster in any thread. As for Leafs threads, he is no longer allowed in here and I made that clear.
So from now on, let's talk about the playoffs instead of one poster.

Hey, that's all we expect as posters. We're all just hockey nerds that come here because we know the people in our personal lives would shiv us if we talked this much hockey with them. But then you have someone like that poster (who blatantly tries to kick the hornet's nest) appear to have protection while preaching the drivel he did. Then you see the regulars on this thread thin out from bans accrued by trying to shut said poster down, or self imposed exclusions because of the disparity in treatment between those who want to use this as a forum for hockey talk, and those who want to use it to inflate their sense of self worth.
At the end of the day no one should let what's said here affect their lives outside of the board, but there's a clear sense of community here and it can't be good for the welfare of the site when that gets disrupted. There are fans of other teams who frequent this thread and can have well formed opposing opinions. Those who don't and aspire to solely poop on the thoughts of others should not be welcome. This goes for the Leaf fans who exist to troll others. You want to troll because it's a silly site and no one should give a (frank)? Fine. But know that your posting privileges will be revoked so those who are here to have an intelligent* discussion about hockey can continue to do so.
*I of course mean varying degrees of intelligence. Can't exclude the bird just because he was born less than smart.
