Congrads Leaf fans . You guys .....and gals deserve this. Your team reminds me of my fav team the Hawks 😢 from 2008 n 2009 on the cusp. Young team coming together. Just tell your GM to hold off on those long term NMC contracts that's now crippling the Hawks. No complaint though 3 cups when I never thought I would see one. Leafs are so much fun to watch n I dont care what anyone says Caps are going to be in panic mode. Not trying to be a Richard but I think Torts is an overrated coach n I'm sorry Ovie is good but again I think highly overrated. Good Luck

Thanks, it's sad to see Chicago losing like they are, but as we all know, the playoffs can produce unexpected results...I wouldn't be surprised to see the Blues and Ducks in the WCF with the way things are happening

Such a joke that they won't even reveal what the injury is, just that he needs surgery. The NHL has jumped the shark on the whole injury thing.

I really like Polak.

I think the Leafs replace him with Manson this offseason though. I'll take him as a 6/7 d man but I could see him getting paid a decent amount of money elsewhere

It's funny, Garnie and I were the only ones sticking up for Polak a few months ago, how times have changed.

At 500-1000 hits a day, this thread is the bread and butter of this entire site, and HB would not survive like it does without this thread....so it damn well better be watched because the circle has gotten a lot smaller around here due to a few low-life no-life trolls that are not being held accountable....yet they wouldn't last 10 minutes in any other "watched" thread. Never kick your gift horse in the mouth or side with a stranger with false motives over a repeat client...it's bad for business.

That is all.

- jimi james

Never look a gift horse in the mouth ??? Where'd the kick one in the mouth come from ?

240 pound d man who plays solid mins on the PK and a great work ethic.

I'm sure a lot of teams would love him but he might be a bit too costly. We will see

I could see a team like Vancouver giving him a 2 year deal and flipping him to a contender...maybe Toronto

Well played mike.

This should be the last we see of Jimi James.

I can't see him recover from this grammatical burn.

LOL at the Sabres blog.

It makes me so happy that the Leafs are driving the Sabres nuts.

What a sad bunch they are

I've always liked Polak and have no problem with him on a bottom pairing.

He had a lousy start to the season but he got his poop together from about December/January on.
