I said Andersen is outplaying Holtby right now, which makes a big difference between was was first perceived and the actual outcomes of games.

I didn't say Holtby sucked or the Leafs stole those games. I just said Andersen, imo, is playing better than his opponent right now and it's making the diffrence.

Rask is a top5 goalie in NHL past 8 years, in particular first 5 seasons of those 8 (he's suffering from being overused though).
Forsberg is really good, but nothing can bet a top5 goalie imo; worth way more than a scoring winger.

I would disagree on Andersen outplaying Holtby.
Both have been really good - it's just that Leafs team has been better than the Caps.
The reason for this is, is that Leafs have a better team in general.

Game 1 overtime winner on Anderson was terrible
Game 2 Holtby just OK
Game 3 Kuznetsov's goal was weak although Anderson was solid in the 5 on 3.
So good but not great goaltending so far IMO by both teams.

i had my habs jersey on at an airport in D.C. and some random stranger off a toronto flight just feels like he's entitled to come up to me and start booing... who does that??

what kind of people feel entitled to harass people like that? never said anything to the guy and me and another Habs fan (who didn't have a jersey on) just kept talking.

that's the kind of behaviour that makes people, like me who live in Toronto, want to cheer for the Habs or (insert non-Toronto team name here)...

Andersen has made a ton of huge saves.

Holtby is rattled and hasn't been that good imo.

If i was giving out the conn smythe today, it would definitely go to.....



Dart guy

I'm not claiming the Habs are perfect, far from it. They have issues, like most teams.

But Shea Weber is great, Radulov is carrying the team offensively and Price is the best goaltender in the world.

They're not favorites to win the cup. But they have a legitimate chance to think they can do it.

I'd still be disappointed if I was a Caps fan that Holtby isn't making more of a diffrence.
