Kadri had a great game.

Nylander is going beast mode. Who was the twit who always wanted to trade him

- senstroll

If you hand out new letters on the jersey next year, Kadri has an A, Rielly gets an A and the C goes to #34.

but is he good defensively? Can he move the puck? Hockey smarts?
- Fakepartofme

He's good defensively but I think average in terms of moving the puck.

Nylander comes up with some pretty sweet moves every now and then.
Fun to watch.

TBH though, by posting a gif of somebody in dungarees like that it shows how in touch with the common man I am...

Nylander also makes some pretty sweet defensive plays and checking plays to keep the puck alive too...

He doesn't look like a defensive liability out there to my eyes. He has a bit of that Matthews demeanor where he's not being chased by bees going after the play and just makes sure he's in the right spot at the right time.

I would give the As to Kadri, Reilly, Boyle and Komarov. Let them rotate them each game.

IMO, we are going to need people who can move the puck out smartly.
As this would be a big trade, whoever we get...Lou has to hit a homerun with it.

He really does. I think he has stopped shooting a bit and needs to use that deadly wrister a bit more.

JVR has done an amazing job at finding/making space in front of and beside the net and using his shot.

Matthews is the captain, its not even a debate.
Will be the best least player in history I think when he retires

He may well be one of the better pure shut-down guys in the league. His ability to limit shots against is pretty much off the charts. He can also get the puck out well and doesn't often get stuck in his own zone.

That's funny because I was thinking last night that he has been their best defenseman so far, and thus wondering how bad and slow that defense must have been before he got there?

Although I agree that the Leafs should ideally target someone else in the off-season.

i think orvlov has been their best dman. pretty impressed by him.

.HOHO, let the mods and the admins handle it, we have discussed this. So let's drop it and move on.
- LeafMan

Don't you mean the mods and admins will handle HOHO?

About time too!

Edit: To anyone reading this post (from above), me and HOHO go way back and I like to tease him, I mean him no harm and wish him nothing but good.... I do hate his team though.

I want us to win game 4 by 3 or 4 goals so Marty can wipe out that douchebag Kuznetsov.
