My inside sources tell me the Leafs have a game time surprise for game 4 that is sure to sink the Caps. Thats right, we've been waiting for this moment for sometime, but it's finally here. Lupul will make his long awaited comeback and re-unite with Bozak and JVR. Marner will play with Willy and Matthews. Series over people...
But seriously, Kadri had one heck of a game last night! - Hockey_Reverend
Seriously. Kadri turned the tide of that game by blowing up Orpik TWICE in one shift. Then Uncle Leo did a good job staying in their heads. He was the only one giving it back to Ovechkin for being a lumberjack. |

I have a bunch of blanks + a Reimer and Gardiner. All free so I can't complain. It's like the Brett Lowry jersey I got for free. I feel weird wearing it but don't want to buy one. |

Shattenkirk wasn't very good. He's not the answer this offseason. - mykokes
That's funny because I was thinking last night that he has been their best defenseman so far, and thus wondering how bad and slow that defense must have been before he got there?
Although I agree that the Leafs should ideally target someone else in the off-season. |

Meh, a two year 2-3 million per will not hurt us at all. - Fakepartofme
I agree.
Keep Boyle for another 3 years at 2.75mln, and you'll have one thing less to worry about.
1. Matthews
2. Marner
3. Nylander
4. Kadri
5. Bozak
6. Brown
7. Komarov
8. Boyle
9. Hyman
9 guys that are most certainly there to stay for next 2-3 years.
Then you have Martin, Kapanen, Rychel, Soshnikov, Leivo, Leipsic to fill out the team on forward (or to be traded). + some other younger guys still coming up in a few years.
JVR seems to be the odd man out UNLESS he has a very incredible playoff series or Leafs can't get a decent return on him.
At this point though, it seems that a trade of JVR going to Anaheim for a defenseman like Manson (+additional parts) could be a logical move for the Leafs. |

And a Kap jersey probably has a bit more lifetime than a Komarov jersey |

He's very overrated if you ask me.
I wouldn't spend the 6M+ he's going to ask for this summer.
There are probably better, cheaper options elsewhere.
Curious to see what Alzner gets for example. - Scabeh
Alzner gets what Lou tells him he's going to get |

That's bullpoop. Holtby's been great too. This isn't "Anderson is stealing the series" and it's not a "Caps haven't shown up series". Both teams are playing hard and the Leafs have outplayed the Caps by an inch or two. - The Law
Umm...Andersen stole game two...no question imo.
But I agree with the above. |

I finally watched a game at Real Sports.
Holy frank, what a great place to watch the game, although they put on franking house music in the intermisson, instead of letting us listen to Coach's Corner.
And the menu is franking horrendous. - Atomic Wedgie
Uggh ...food is awful there. A little better at Eleven (on the corner). But ya, the atmosphere is great. |

Who replaces JVR? I know Kap has played well...but I dont see him top 6 replacing JVR consistently and on a full time basis. |
