Jinx? What jinx? I am giving you full credit for the LUCAS NEILSON JINK. Spazzbot declared that the Leafs had it after your game 2 preview blog. Keep the jink alive, it's working!

Z was horrible, minus 2 is first couple of shifts....but somehow Marincin was pretty good until he got injured.
Babs has been worth every penny. Wow.

This has been a great series and to think people wanted another high draft pick.."oh first round experience isnt that big if they get blown out." LOL

Its unbelievable how well some players are playing. Great to see. Will is last? Who knows, just enjoying the ride.

Calgary....BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Fack you!

- Fakepartofme

I also notice there aren't many complaints about the 2nd round pick we gave up for Boyle.

I finally watched a game at Real Sports.

Holy frank, what a great place to watch the game, although they put on franking house music in the intermisson, instead of letting us listen to Coach's Corner.

And the menu is franking horrendous.

- Atomic Wedgie

Not a bad place at for games.

except the music during intermission.

Like I said, there are stupid fans in every fan base. The Habs are just so special, they're full of 'em

Whenever I start hoping the Bruins win vs the Sens... I keep reminding myself how much I hate you all.

P.S. Your team is not injuring enough Sens players! Wake up!

YEAH! He was complete garbage killing off a two minute 5 on 3. After playing a whole 2 games in March he should have scored a short handed goal with that long a shift. Maybe two goals!
- BlueBallz

PK he was great. 5 on 5 I still poop my pants whenever he's on.

I didn't mention the Habs being favorites against Pittsburgh did I?

We'd have a chance but they'd be the underdog vs the Pens.

If the Habs keep playing like they did game 3.... they're going to be pretty tough to beat.

- Scabeh

They still have scoring issues. Honestly, when they go up against a team who has good centers, they'll have even bigger issues. Their lack of depth down the middle is a huge issue in the playoffs. Even Boston would likely give them a tough time IMO. Wouldnt be a great matchup for them.

Nope.
Like I said at the time of the deal, if we make the playoffs, it will be so worth it...and here we are.
The guy has been doing well (that pass is still amazing to watch) and from reports, he's been a great guy for the kids and room.
Extend him

No, but if we somehow get through this we're a 'walking' infirmary

But seriously, the amount of injuries we have is staggering

Woah now, lets not get crazy here. I like him a lot, but committing the 3M it will take to resign him may not be a good thing if we want to follow the Chicago model.

Let some other team overpay him, and then trade for him again with that team retaining salary.

I love that Cherry praised him for killing that penalty. While he did OK, there were points where he literally fell on his face and had the puck not taken a bad bounce or two he would left his slot open multiple times.
- markmark

Hey, I get all that but to declare the guy a total liability and say he's complete garbage is a bit much. He spent prolonged periods of the season as a healthy scratch, played only 2 games in March and despite that he managed to be a part of the most important penalty kill of the season in the highest possible pressure situation filling in on an already paper thin blue line. Would I welcome an upgrade? Sure. Does he deserve at least a bit of recognition for what he did last night? Hell yeah, he does.

Don't Habs fans want the Bruins to win?

Habs-Bruins series usually go pretty well for you.

I said he did ok!

You want him out there on the PK because he has serious reach. But my point was that he made some bad mistakes on said PK that fortunately didn't end up in the back of net. Not bad but not great.

5 on 5 he needs to stop flicking it off the glass only 6ft high.

The house music was awesome.

There was this electronic drum track, and then some heavy bass.

For 17 minutes.

- Atomic Wedgie

That's sick bro! Did they play some whiny gina chick vocals and add in some bleeps and bloops? That's my jam.

agreed, i wouldn't want him at $3M

but he's making $2M now. at 32, i don't think he's done much to justify getting more than that on his next deal.

Holtby - best goalie in league with Schneider - must love his teammates when playing vs Leafs.
Somehow Holtby always has his weakest games vs Leafs - or the Leafs have his number.

Leafs, although playing really well, were quite lucky yesterday - actually I thought it was the game they least deserved to win (maybe that's why the win felt extra great!) BUT 2-1 is a very fair representation on the series..

Tomorrow Leafs can practically end this series; don't expect Washington to be as bad on the PP though (one of the worst 5 on 3's I've ever seen!) - key to tomorrow's game is limiting the time on PK.

Go Leafs Go - should be two easy wins for Leafs to get the series in 5

I agree with you 100%

My initial comment and response to you was addressing the poster who declared him to be "absolute garbage" Just want the guy to get his due credit for last night.
