I love it when the refs switch from October to April like shift to shift. Really helps with the consistency.

Must be infuriating for the players.

I'm glad someone finally crunched Orpik.

edit: and the goal by Matthews was nice too.

I was surprised when Babs was saying he's a good guy, didn't mean to do it (Polak knee).

Didn't he destroy Stepan a few years ago with the same hit? Tried the same thing on Marner in Game 2 as well.

I'm in Toronto right this moment.

I came here for the game.

And also to catch a connecting flight to Halifax in an hour.

Time to do it hard into the boards next time

If there's anyone I wouldnt mind having their face rearranged by being run into a stanchion or some other unforgiving object, its Orpik.

I'm not one to condone dirty play or gratuitous cheapshots, but damn, I cannot stand Orpik.

I agree with all of this. I wouldn't object to it happening to either one of the Kanes either...

He's got a long history. The first time I really noticed it was some years ago against the Flyers. Kimmo Timmonen had just come back from a concussion, and every change Orpik got to go anywhere near Timmonen (and you don't see D hitting other D too often in a game), he would go up high on Timmonen.

Nothing I've seen from Orpik down through the years has done anything to change my opinion that he's a major league D-bag.

When you let in 2 goals early, his confidence is bound to be a bit shaken, next period he will be fine

We're too used to other teams' fans posting stuff like that sarcastically, and often find ourselves under the cloud of "soft trolling"...
