So now you're quoting Gillis? (frank)ING (frank)!
So what are you saying that it's because of a poor attitude and other character flaws that caused his demise?
I don't by the foot speed issue. Lots of players have had long careers that were slow by NHL standards. And that doesn't explain the 64 NHL goals.
Were all those handed to him on a silver platter?
Were his points in buffalo a result of playing on a stacked team?
I'm not a cody fan but I'm going to call out BS when a bunch of you guys get all female dogy and saying stupid poop.
The kid made the NHL because he wanted it and deserved to be drafted. And you bunch point to character flaws that are speculative at best and ignore what's probable. Because it's more fun right? - bloatedmosquito
Wow! Are you ok man? Do you need someone to talk too?
I never once said he had an attitude issue, or he had character flaws. I'm just saying he sucks and no one offered hm a contract after last yr.....that's why he retired. You don't want to acknowledge that his foot speed was an issue, that's on you cause he didn't and it's one of the reasons why he sucked. He had a couple good yrs but he wasn't worth the 5+ mil a year he was getting after a couple good years in Buffalo.
As for ,getting all female dogy, I wasn't I just don't agree with you that's all.
But seriously, your having a bad day I get it....because I got to tell you, you are getting way too excited about a guy your not even a fan of.
Cheers!

There you go, mystery solved: backs can heal 100% but hurt feelings last forever and force you into early retirement - WhiteLie
He got a $4 million contract so who needs another $12 - $20 million. Payday brother. Now he can now do and live anywhere he wants... other than Vancouver of course.
Cody's no Daigle. And even Daigle had an OK NHL career. |

good find!
But seriously, what the (frank) is going on? No health care professional would make a statement like that. I don't think there is a professional in the world in any industry that would give an endeavour a 100% success rate.
Would anyone here, other than Dragon, give a 100% successful outcome to any project before you even had a chance to properly review the scope?
If your answer is yes please tell me who you are so I can make sure never to hire you. - bloatedmosquito
how the f*ck would YOU know?? Yes they are 100% recoverable. Ive been treating this for 15 years daily.

Really?
My alter ego had decompression surgery on his l4 and l5 (last Feb 2016). Because of it being degenerative, my prognosis is that it will just get worse. I fell down some stairs last month, and messed my back up again. I've had injections, and a “caudal” epidural.......I'm scheduled on the 25th for a surgery to "burn the nerves", the doc says I should be pain free for 6 to 9 months. Any Suggestions for before or after ?

I think he was a dentist but I get your point.
It's frustrating for a health care professional to make a statement like Dragon did. He has no clue in regards to the case and yet he makes a statement like...
"Cody's playing ability could not have suffered from a long term back injury because the type of injury he had is 100% recoverable."
BS. - bloatedmosquito
So true. I will now await his tears & drool infused hysteria. |

He had a torn ligament in his spine, it was miss diagnosed as a muscle strain. Cody hired his own doctor for a second opinion and than it was found.
AV dragged his name through the mud, and questioned his character which soured him on the organization.
He also battled chronic ledfootitis throughout his career and wad never able to get it successfully treated even though he saw many professionals to try and help him deal with it. This slowly built up scar tissue in his ankles and calfs, slowly growing into multipe blisters of cinderblockfoot, sadly its since been diagnosed that Bonino suffers from the same ailment. - Pres.cup

because in those cases it doesnt matter. The treatment is usually exactly the same regardless of cause. Its great to have that info but still the treatment will be the same so we dont need it technically. - SMBDragon
What, an informed treatment plan?
I'm going to stop right there.

You're wrong. It was actually coined by Howard Cosell in 1979 referring to the Pittsburgh Steelers & Pirates, it's been borrowed by many people since, including Edmonton's mayor in 1987.

OK lefty, don't mean to drag you into this but I think you have had some close contact to pro hockey.
Do you know of any highly skilled player that miraculously got drafted and then packed it in because he got a big contract.
I can't believe someone who would work so hard to get to the top would then just pack it in for a small percentage of money. |
