You guys are unbelievable. Why don't we all just stick to the facts instead of gossiping?

He had 33 points in 66 games with the canucks. That's good.
He has 99 points in in 210 games with buffalo. That's good.
He had 8 points in 39 games with the preds. That's not good.

He's performed better over the years than your average 1st rounder. If he had an attitude problem he wouldn't be working for the last team he played for.

Maybe, just maybe a few teams he played for had the attitude problem. Hmmm.

Didn't have the foot speed, wasn't defensively responsible. Wasn't learning. Wasn't improving.

No, I just don't have patience for entitled princesses. Virtanen may be a bust but at least he has a good attitude.

by coming to camp in his second, pivotal season looking like a fat blob? Are you kidding me?

Wonder if there will be any shuffling of that department this year.

I would like to think they are always tinkering with their scouting staff. Fresh eyes will never hurt. I'm pretty sure thought with JB's back round that his scouts are given specifics to look for in players.

But why does that have to be by choice? Might be other factors than attitude that cause those things to happen.

But either way it's untrue. Why doesn't anyone acknowledge his numbers? People talk about impressions more than they talk about facts. It's (frank)ing horsepoop.

Oh sh!t you were being serious?

His last yr in Van Gillis said they sheltered him to offer him up in a trade, good matchups, ozone starts, PP time. He did have a cpl ok yrs in Buffalo but that was it. He was a top 6 player but did perform that way and last yr he was awful in Nashville.

I have no problem having a wrong opinion but some of the poop posted on this site is (frank)ing crazy.

So now you're quoting Gillis? (frank)ING (frank)!

So what are you saying that it's because of a poor attitude and other character flaws that caused his demise?

I don't by the foot speed issue. Lots of players have had long careers that were slow by NHL standards. And that doesn't explain the 64 NHL goals.
Were all those handed to him on a silver platter?
Were his points in buffalo a result of playing on a stacked team?

I'm not a cody fan but I'm going to call out BS when a bunch of you guys get all female dogy and saying stupid poop.

The kid made the NHL because he wanted it and deserved to be drafted. And you bunch point to character flaws that are speculative at best and ignore what's probable. Because it's more fun right?

Kay that's what I'm kind of pointing at here. We all like to blame the players when they don't work out here but it's not always the players fault.

remember this is my field. I treat professional athletes fairly regularly. Trust me this is not a serious injury. If he isnt getting the proper treatment he will suffer sure, but it is totally treatable and if done right wont hinder him playing in the nhl

He had a torn ligament in his spine, it was miss diagnosed as a muscle strain. Cody hired his own doctor for a second opinion and than it was found.

AV dragged his name through the mud, and questioned his character which soured him on the organization.

He also battled chronic ledfootitis throughout his career and wad never able to get it successfully treated even though he saw many professionals to try and help him deal with it. This slowly built up scar tissue in his ankles and calfs, slowly growing into multipe blisters of cinderblockfoot, sadly its since been diagnosed that Bonino suffers from the same ailment.

Stop. It was misdiagnosed and mistreated as a disk hernia for two seasons.

Are you saying all back injuries of this magnitude are 100% recoverable? That's the percentage real doctors give the patient when diagnosed?

stop what?
Yes Im saying its 100% recoverable.
I have a long history working with herniated discs. Its not difficult either if treated right.....sadly it is often not done right with other practitioners due to lack of knowledge with it.

Luckily I did extra study on it

As someone who suffers from severe chronic back problems from a variety of diseases, Dragon is the last person I would seek help from. I would probably get better care from the doctor in "The Marathon Man".
