I suspect the truth lies in the middle with Cody. Injuries and a sh!t attitude both contributed. - CanuckDon
I can't see a team like buffalo giving him a crazy contract if he has serious attitude problems. |

I thought you were talking about personal success note riding the coat tails of Crosby & Malkin.
Bonino sucked goat balls as a Canuck and would still be fluffing them if here was currently a Canuck. |

oh geez...thats not a serious injury, totally treatable with treatment - SMBDragon
True, if you want to continue to shovel snow or carry the groceries for the wife. Not so much when you have to compete with the best in the world. |

#Canucks assistant gm John Weisbrod watching Nico Hischier today as Canada beat the Swiss 7-3 at the U-18 worlds. - VANTEL
Hopefully he also watched David Farrance and Grant Mismash from the USA team. Miro Hieskanen(last name misspelled) from Finland. |

Sorry, I thought the comments in Carol's blog were referring to the current playoffs. - Marwood
She was, but I think Dot was using last seasons impact as a consideration. I could be wrong... |

I am sure they were watching Hieskanen and Glass closely as well. Hieskanen is more complete D man than Lilegren. Not to mention 6 points in 3 games |

remember this is my field. I treat professional athletes fairly regularly. Trust me this is not a serious injury. If he isnt getting the proper treatment he will suffer sure, but it is totally treatable and if done right wont hinder him playing in the nhl |

Injury. Otherwise he'd still be playing. - bloatedmosquito
Hodgson retire because no one would offer him a contract. He was terrible in Nashville last yr. his foot speed is worse then the Sedins. His first yr in Buffalo he scored 20 goals and they offered him that big contract. They bought him out 2 yrs later. |

He is a little b!tch that was mentally weak and didn't have the desire to train and work like a professional. Once Cody and his daddy got the big pay cheque he packed it in. I still think that was one of Gillis's best trades |

But maybe it wasn't treated properly and it became an ongoing issue. |

I disagree. His numbers are excellent other than one poopy season on a really bad sabre team.
He works for the preds now so I can't believe he was a problem. You guys are just pissed he hurt your feelings. |

Gillis even said that they staged him that yr to look better then he was with all the ozone starts and against weak line match ups. - Kaynine
It was a really smart move by Gillis and a decent trade. Sadly, Kassian fell in with the wrong crowd here in Yaletown and wasted 4 years of his life. Cody was an entitled little punk from the beginning. |

Playing in I think equal leagues SM-liiga and SHL. |
