4 teams had 2 goal leads or more. I know playoffs are always closer then everyone imagines but this seems almost ridiculous how teams can't close out the games once they get a lead. The NEW nhl I guess.

They can save themselves the pain, and money, just keep Benning if they're looking to continually finish at the bottom of the standings.

Playoff hockey so far has been unreal - you really forgot how great it can be while watching the regular season/Canucks all year.

Love that the Hawks are down 3-0, on top of the fact they're clearly declining yet have 6 players wrapping up over 40Mil in cap space for the next 4 years. and some people think LE and Sutters contract is bad!! How bout 5.2mil for Hossa as a 42 yr old or Kane & Toews 10.5mil as 34 yr olds, or my fav Seabrook at 6.8mil as a 38 yr old.

Just as a side note, tanking is useless if you can't develop prospects properly. Something that's yet to be witnessed under this regime.

I know people will point to Horvat but I think his internal drive and maturity is the main driver of his development or progression. Guys like Baertschi and Granlund were simply just given a chance to play.

I was thinking about that Cannonball hole injury, do you sew that up after you treat it, or do you just leave it like people have these days with wide holes in their ear lobes as such?
