Oh it would be amazing to see....but no pressure on these leafs..and Babcock has all respect as a coach. The pens prob win this series but it's not any easier than Washington.

I don't know if TO can win this series, but the speed is killing the Caps. I have to admit I didn't see it coming. I knew the Leafs had some exciting young players, but I figured the Caps had too much depth. Even if the Caps win, it should be very encouraging for the Pens.

Everyone had the Caps defense as invincible and I knew that was not true. Plus young legs this time of year and a fast team with a decent forecheck can do wonders. Look at the Pens.

The point is all those "experts" said it wouldn't be tight or close at all...but it seemed to me that Toronto was the last team Washington would want to play first round.

So was I when I said that the leafs could very easily beat the caps...i had this as a 50/50 series. I remain strong in my conviction that the leafs present a greater threat to the pens than Washington.

Until Washington and ovie prove they can beat Pittsburgh and sid.. ..ill take the pens every single time. The leafs with youth speed coaching and a lack of pressure is a totally different opponent.

Well, I'm expecting a complete & dominating performance from the Caps today! I'll be happy to be wrong (again), but I think that's today's result - Caps by 4 or 5 goals.

It's very unexpected that the Caps aren't playing more to their seeding to be honest.

I'm waiting for them to wake up out of their slumber, but the way it's going with the Leafs youthful push & basic nothing to lose attitude it's going to be too late!

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather play the Leafs than the Caps although the longer this goes the more I'm thinking the Caps may be an easier series to win.

In saying that, I'm still 'expecting' the Caps to prevail.

How about Nashville, man do they look good. That team is going to be a tough out. On the flip side, do heads start to roll in Chicago if they are swept out of the playoffs in round 1?
