Well there is your issue...ESPN.com got it's last info on NHL hockey from NHL97.

Or Going to ESPN.com for NHL hockey information is like going to Hockeybuzz for actual trade rumors!!!

Considering Sundqvist probably isn't ready for 3rd line duty, do we try to sign Bones? I wonder what he'd want. I can't imagine paying him over 3.5, but somebody will probably over-pay.

I did double check with a basic google search, matched the link I posted...

I am laughing, not at you, but at how poopty espn's coverage of hockey always is

I think Sundqvist could handle the 3rd line... I think he'd be up right now if not having Cullen on the 4th, and the cheap bargain that is Bonino. He made such great strides in his own offense this year in the AHL... and then a year of growth in the NHL with above average 3rd line wingers... sounds great for a player's final stage of development.

Well, I'm expecting a complete & dominating performance from the Caps today! I'll be happy to be wrong (again), but I think that's today's result - Caps by 4 or 5 goals.

DOMINATION.

So the refs penalise a player for embellishment & then also penalise a guy for being the player who instigates said embellishment??

That rule is THE most ridiculous rule in the NHL!!

Heard on the radio that the Penguins have the most drafted defensivemen playing in the Playoffs this year... 8 throughout the league... I can only come up with 6...
1.Maatta 2. Burtozzo 3. England 4.Orpik 5.Morrow 6. Harrington

Maatta, Bortuzzo, Orpik, Morrow, Harrington, Roszival is 6. And then I'm assuming they're counting Despres and Letang even though they're injured. Engelland was originally a NJD draft pick.

Did anyone else just see that 116 foot saucer pass by Karlsson in the Sens game?!!...unreal. One of the best passes you'll ever see.

I don't know if TO can win this series, but the speed is killing the Caps. I have to admit I didn't see it coming. I knew the Leafs had some exciting young players, but I figured the Caps had too much depth. Even if the Caps win, it should be very encouraging for the Pens.

Ive watched pretty much the whole game so far and Shattenkirk has been a liability. Big time. Toronto are out playing them for long periods of time.

The Caps don't play at the same speed. TO is beating them to a lot of pucks.

I'm actually more concerned if the pens see the leafs in round two. Of course if the leafs do give Washington a scare they could gain a lot of confidence from that.

Oh it would be amazing to see....but no pressure on these leafs..and Babcock has all respect as a coach. The pens prob win this series but it's not any easier than Washington.
