That was my fear when it went to review. But how the refs missed that in the 1st place is beyond me.
Where's captain quack. Tears are all wiped away now that calls are going his/her way again? - TandA4Flames
I wasn't crying. Just felt that the penalties were a little one sided. Certainly not crying now because Flames, short of a Kings-style comeback, will be playing golf next week. What an epic collapse!!!! |

I hope they put CJ in next game. I can't see how they could come back with Elliott after that meltdown. |

Couldn't hurt ! I think this proves that 2 1Bs doesn't cut it. They need Fleury or Bishop IMO. The Ramo/Hiller thing wasn't enough and neither is Elliott/ CJ. They need a legit no.1. |

That goal looked above the cross bar. I don't know if it would have helped because momentum shifted to Anaheim. Ducks got a lot of good bounces this series. |

Thank you. That is kind. There is something to be said abt kicking someone when they are down.
And it was above the crossbar but the NHL continues to prove their hate to Canada. Doesn't matter. They still had a buffer and blew it. The fault is on Calgary. |

Our goalie let in 5 bad goals in the last 2 games. You don't win when that happens. I kind of feel bad for him but I'd feel worse if he was sitting on a fat new contract from BT. |

Hate on Canada? More like hate on Calgary. If it goes to Toronto they'll always give the other team the goal or take the goal from us. Give one example where it hasn't gone that way. Seriously.

I honestly believe this is a Bettman curse, bc there is no new barn. Look at how Edmonton changed once they moved in.
I don't like being a conspiracy theorist. But they tried screwing Ottawa the other day also.

If I was the Flames coach I would have asked the ref
Coach "Ref, can you tell me how tall the crossbar is?"
Ref- "4 feet"
Coach - "Can we both agree Nate Thompson is taller than 4 feet tall? Let's say 6 feet?"
Ref - "Sure"
Coach - "Okay, I'm challenging this goal and I want you to go over and watch him contact the puck above his shoulders and you come back and tell me how his shoulder level is lower than 4 feet standing upright"
Or is that too much common sense for a referee? Brutal call, absolutely garbage. I think the refereeing has been biased against Canadian teams in most of the series. |
