What's your take on talking while peeing?

To me, if I am gripping up on my junk or someone else is, we should refrain from discussing things until we are both not grabbing on our manland. Thoughts?

Flyers need improvement in skill level, get rid of some of the 4th line players on the team, and there are several. Couturier for me has always been overrated. For me, he's nothing but a 3rd or 4th line player at best so far, probably because of the way he was utilized early on by coaches. The same way Flyer coaches ruined a young Zubrus.
- twpguy

Here's the thing if you are still using the old 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th line approach you aren't going to be keeping up in todays NHL. You need to be able to pretty much roll 4 lines and 3 d pairs consistently especially on the road where you can't get the last prefaceoff change and protect guys. Until the Flyers can do that they are nothing but a bubble team.

So later today you are going to be saying you were peeing and grabbing your manhood the whole time and we are in violation?

Who around the league would you compare him to? Similar age, skill set, projection, usage, etc.
- jak521

No one is ever a perfect comparison but he's not a unique talent in the NHL right now. It's pretty easy to see that he holds his own against draft mates in Hanifin and Werenski. MacAvoy, Ekblad, Jones, Dumba... to varying degrees of playing style and experience but mostly value to their team.

It's his rookie year, no one on here should get excited about trading Provorov. Some people see a Norris in his future but he's going to have to do a lot more to get in that conversation when you look at the kids he'll be competing with during his career.

Provorov for a young talented center is beyond just a bold move but I think for the conversation on here and all the influence we obviously peddle when it comes to NHL decision making it's not the worst topic to consider.

I speak to no one, nor do I make eye contact with anyone, while in the restroom. Not even at the sink area while washing hands.

PS: and if said other party does not wash his hands, he's on the list and I'll never shake his hand again. Ever.

Now I will flat out say that I am pretty biased. I have been a huge fan of Provorovs since before he was drafted. I thought he was the best d-man in his draft.

Here's my thing with Provy.. I cant find any real flaws in his game. Will he make mistakes. Yup. So did Pronger, Lidstrom, Borque and any of the other greats. Individual game in and out mistakes can and will happen. But the total package, I cant find a real flaw.

I think thats why I am so high on him. As a 19-20 year old he was a legit #1 d-man, and not just because we didnt have many better options. He reminds me a bit of Suter in the way he manages his game. He reminds me of Lidstrom in the way you see him anticipate the plays. I have huge expectations for him... Thats why I am hesitant to move him.

Trading him isn't an easy ask and it shouldn't be. I'm certainly not undervaluing him. I'm only trading him for a young first line center and I'm only trading him because of the potential talent behind him.

Didn't think it would ever be relevant here, but there is a motivational poster at my office above the urinals that says "communication"

I think it is pretty hilarious.

I do always wash my hands, but here's the thing: my office doesn't have motion-activated faucets and paper towel dispensers. So after you're done touching your junk, you have to then grab the faucet. Then, when you're done washing your hands (which you just got other man junk on), you have to turn it off again. So you're back to having other man junk germs on your hands. Then, if you're normal and get a paper towel after your turn it off, the paper towel dispenser handle also has faucet turn-off man junk germs on it. You can use the paper towel to open the door, but if you don't, even more man junk germs.

There's a method to avoid this that involves the use of elbows and being one of those pre-emptive paper towel bumholes, but I just say (frank) it and deal with it.

If I worked with you and walked into the rest room while you were washing your hands and said hi and got no reply, I would keep saying it louder and moving closer to you (between you and the door) until you acknowledged me.
