From what I've seen in this series, I'd take Gardiner over Shattenkirk. Telling you guys, the Leafs have 3 top 4 d-men in Gardiner, Reilly and Zaitsev. If they can get one more top 4 d-man, this teams d-corps will be fine.

I think what you're trying to say is through two games, the Leafs goaltending has matched Washington's. And the Leafs d has performed better than everyone's expectations, especially with the injuries to Zaitsev and Polak. And that you're impressed.

Nah! Krapstain is too thick to say something like that. If he had a grasp on things, after the Leafs stood up and trailed for less than four minutes out of about 160 minutes played against the top team in the NHL (obviously due to fluky goaltending) other trolls simply bowed out, gave up and started haunting Tanner's Capital site. But not Krapstain, no, he will find something to dig Leaf's fans about. While his team and the cesspool that is it's management sinks to the depths of incompetence and obscurity, Leafs will be winning. How did you like this play by the ice crew? One of the plays of the game for me. Leafs ice the puck, are dead tired, and the ice crew comes on gives the Leafs a nice long rest while Holtby and Trotz go out of their minds.
