With the exception of that last game between the two, the Leafs played the Caps hard all season. No one in the media was talking about that before the series started though.

Fair enough, Mike. But sooner or later the Zach Hyman on the Matthews line experiment has to end. They need someone on that line that can make a play along with Billy Ny and Matthews.

Lots of D injuries for Leafs to survive. They won this battle but a series is a war of attrition. Depth is key.
