I give the Leafs a ton of credit for playing the Caps this hard. Especially on the road. Win or lose you guys should be proud and optimistic about the future. |

The comments here are reminding me of the 5-OT game almost 17 years ago in which the Flyers beat the Penguins at @ 2:30 am... and yes, I was up all the way to the end of the game.
My apartment-mate at that time from Milwaukee had watched his poor Bucks lose the deciding game of their series (much) earlier in the evening, and for some reason, he stayed up to the end with me and congratulated me when Keith Primeau finally scored to win it. |
