Looks a lot like Game#1, only worse on faceoffs. The Hawks special teams will be the reason they lose. The PP has been terrible - can't win a faceoff, can't get the puck in and can't keep the puck in. Right after that PP the Preds put all kinds of pressure on - it's not a coincidence - it's because they gained momentum off the Hawks impotent PP. |

The early conclusion is that the core has lost some skill. Compared to 2015, who has gotten better and who has slipped?
Better: Kane
Worse: Toews, Keith, Seabrook, Hammer, Oduya, Kruger
Even: Hossa, Crawford
The rest of the team is younger and less experienced than a couple of years ago. It's a problem. The team needs to flip the switch, wake up, realize these games matter, whatever cliche you want to use, now. - matt_ahrens
Going in to this season, I honestly thought the Hawks would have a tough time making the playoffs. I thought they just had way too many rookies playing prominent roles and it was going to be one of those years, but then they're goaltending was phenomenal which kept them afloat early and then when Toews awoke and Schmaltz came back from Rockford, they started to look like a real threat to win the cup. What I'm seeing now, is kind of what I thought I was going to see going in to this year. |

There are 2 distinct groups of Blackhawks through 4 periods of this series. 1) Lackadaisical veterans that don't seem to care enough 2) Rookies that are playing tense and/or scared. Bad combination and the results speak for themselves. 19 + 88 another period to forget. Hossa is the ONLY Cup Winner that looks like he actually gives a damn. The Hawks Veterans better Wake up or they can still make April Tee Times! |

And it was the Towes line again that was on the ice, same as game one. Before Panik came sliding over to block the shot Ellis had a path the size of the Grand Canyon to shoot the puck. Not a Hawk anywhere in the middle of the ice. - RetiredGoalie
I don't know about that 1st goal ,missed Hartman by a eyelash .Got the right players out there ,just have to get the right players together . Hinostroza looks ready ,get him with Kero and Hatman .Good to see Schmaltz back on the top line .. And get Keith and Seebs together . And yes that PP is depressing ,doing the same thing over and over ,and expecting different result is the definition of insanity Right .. I really like Panick game also ,tough break on the blocked shot and Post early .1inch the other way and it not such a bad period .Strap in it's going to be bumpy ride |

Hawks need to turn this around soon... a goal would be fantastic. 3 or 4 would be great too. |

There's a good game being played in Washington for anyone interested in competitive hockey. |

That's 2-0. Laughable excuse for a Top Seed. Glad I live in Denver now so I didn't waste hundreds of dollars to watch this trash. |

Game and Series. Hawks defense caught napping again. At this point this is just embarrassing to be outplayed this poorly on your own home ice.
When the Hawks do get something on net, it hits the post or just goes wide. Could be just Nashville's turn this year. |

I could be wrong, but last time I checked you have to score at least ONE goal to win a hockey game..... |

Sure is starting to look that way. Nashville scores early and then just plays a smart game and shuts the Hawks down. Easy to do, when a teams best players are MIA yet again. |
