SKA wins the Gagarin Cup with a 5-3 win in Game 5 over Magnitogorsk. Viktor Antipin’s season is over.

So then,
Del Zotto-Bogosian
and Guhle in Rochester?

I'm in the minority thinking it's ok for Guhle to start in Rochester
It's easier to bring him up & expect good play,
than if we were depending on Austin, Fedun, Nelson, etc

From what Murray said the other day,
Sounds like Guhle would have to have a pretty bad camp to not make the Sabres

or package mccabe for a legit number 2 righty and let guhle play second pair with that guy

People say that it is tough to get good players to come to play for Buffalo teams because the organizations are a "dumpster fire", "train wreck", or a "cluster frank". Does anyone consider that the Media in our little city is a abusive nightmare, They spend most of their time looking for the faults in players and coaches, then they do anything positive. To me, it is so old and stale, that's why I prefer to get my Sabre news from Kris Baker, Praise worthy when called for, but critical when necessary. I find it funny that Sullivan and Harrington don't like the answers they get from players and front office personnel, when you can hear in the press conference, the snarky tone that they ask every question with.

As far as I'm aware, Petersen would have to declare that he is leaving Notre Dame to turn pro and then he would become a free agent after 30 days or June 1st, whichever comes first. He has not declared anything, so he is still buffalo property until something happens.
If Petersen gets to play in the World Cup and plays well, he would certainly be in line for a shot at an Olympic roster spot, Buffalo would be wise to offer him the top spot in Rochester with the condition that he can go to the Olympics when the time comes.
